Dr. Ronald Lanford
Dr. Ronald Lanford is the owner and operator of the Care Center Hospital for Animals. He is a Michigan State University graduate of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lanford started his career in emergency medicine in 1985 and later moved on to owning his own small animal practice in 1994. He was originally from the Detroit area, but has since been a long term residence of Coldwater, Michigan. He is very involved in the Branch County Community with groups such as the Noon Rotary, Coldwater School Board and AABC, Animal Aid of Branch County.

Angie
Practice Manager
Angie has been working at the Care Center since January of 2013, after her family moved back to Quincy from Kalamazoo, MI. Her favorite part of working for the Care Center, is that "Every day is different and I'm always learning". She has always had a passion for animals since she was very young. Throughout her life she's had a wide range of pets and has worked in a variety of jobs with everything from mice and snakes to Primates and Alpaca. Her hope is to pass her love of animals to her children.
She is a mom of 2 young children and French Bulldogs. She also has several cats of her own as well as some foster cats. They live on a farm with alpaca, chickens, guinea, a mini pig and bees. She enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, going to the lake/boating and reading.

Lynette
Office Manager
Lynette joined the Care Center staff in the Spring of 2013. She has always had a passion for animals. Even though Lynette's position is mainly office related, she certainly enjoys the little interactions she gets with pets coming into our facility.
Lynette is the mother of two beautiful daughters that occupy her time with sporting events. Her "furry family" consists of a German Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix and a long haired calico cat. Lynette enjoys watching her girls play sports, yard work, camping as well as other outdoor activities and spending time with family.

Claire
Lead Veterinary Technician
Claire joined the Care Center team in 2008. One of her favorite areas in the veterinary field is working on dental procedures. She really enjoys making your pets teeth shiny! Her favorite part of being a veterinary technician is that every day is different and you never know what may come your way.
She has one dog of her own, Mossy, which is a beautiful 5 year old Rottweiler. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her niece, hunting, and going on road trips.

Jessica
Licensed Veterinary Technician
Jessica has been working at the Care Center since 2011. She has always had a strong passion for animal science and a passion for working with both large and small animals.
She is a proud pet parent of two Jack Russell Terriers and two cats. She also raises beef cattle and works with horses. She and her husband have a strong interest in farming practices.
